Trying to help with a rather large ground to grid base amp project. A friend has three amps (two drivers and one final amp). The final amp is based on a 3cx10,000D. The two drivers are: (1) a one tube 4-1000, and (2) a one tube 3cx3000f7.

The 4-1000 based driver works perfectly driving the 3cx10,000D however when using the 3cx3000f7 as the driver for the 10,000D, output goes to zero. Actually when the 3cx10,000D is turned off the 3cx3000f7 works fine transmitting as normal straight thru the 10,000D. But when the 10,000D is swithed on, the output goes to zero.

Can't figure this out especially since the the 3000f7 works fine independently and since the 4-1000 drives the 10,000D without a problem. All amps have both input and output tuning.

Any suggestions??
