I guys I notice on the Galaxy Saturn Turbo on regular AM with the actual channel showing instead of the frequency that there are some channel that will come a second time but with an "A" after it: 3A 7A 11A 15A 19A Why is this? Anyone know where I can download an Owners Manual for this radio so I can learn about it. Thanks, Tim CEF-634 |

on the ORIGINAL 23 channels, those are the 'skips' between that channel & the next that were and STILL ARE used for the 'toy' RC cars & trucks kids play with(though originally not 'toys'). those skips were designed into the PLL circuitry used for the original 40 channel radios. those designs carried over into the multiband export radios, therefore, you'll notice ALL bands on export radios have 'skips' on the same channels, on EVERY band, including the 'out of sequence freqs' on channels 22-26. |
