I wouldn't pay to much attention to those that complain about you being off frequency a few Hz. They are just being to picky. No one can be perfect. Or tell em your radio is just fine and maybe they need to check theirs.

You could unlock the clarifier and that would give you the ability to get on frequency with them if it bothers you.

what are you adjusting for this? is it a coil or a variable cap?

if its a coil, you may be tuning to the wrong side of the peak.

im guessing that its a trimmer cap, and thats why it wond adjust that high. if so, check for a bad disc cap in series with the trimmer. or change its value to get the required reading.

did you make sure that the clarifier was centered when you started? (i know, dumb question, but...)

also check for a bad cap near the 10.695 crystal.

just some thoughts. hope you get it fixed.

Thanks its a trimmer cap with a disc cap in parallel with it was thinking about that ( value ).
When in LSB a 20pf trimmer and 39pf disc cap are
placed in parallel with the trimmer cap used to set AM/USB. Also tryed turning full 360 as nostop on trimmer cap to make sure we didn't have
two tuning points here. Parallel caps add up if
i am thinking right so we have 59pf here with 20pf of tuning not counting the fact that we also have the 20pf from AM/USB also clarifier at
high 12 o clock
