I had the opposite problem with my Silver Salute sounding tinty with my voice/radio. I changed the mic element, used a lower impedance mic element out of a Superstar Stock Mic which corrected the problem for me. I'm not familar with the Turner +2 mic. I have heard a few people on them and to be completely honest i did not care for there sound. Have you played with adjusting your radio mic gain and gain on mic? You may try putting a higher impedance mic element in it. Wish i knew more about this mic. I have never experimented with one. Good Luck with whatever you decide to do!

Turner plus 2's that have a hollow or too much base can be fixed by placing a .01 micro farad(uf)disc capacitor between the white audio wire and the shield or in series with the white wire inside of the microphone. |
