Has anyone installed one of these? I recently got my hands on one, but there is no instructions with it. I don't want to fry the stupid thing.

Anyone with instructions or help I'd appreciate it.

Thanks,

Chop

there have been more then a few stinger boards available over the years, including a couple new ones by kl. performance was fair at best, if you managed to get it to work. have seen 'different' hookups, but last one was:
1. get 12v from regulator
2. swap of caps to help volts stay up so sufficient amps are provided
3. ground
4. remove wire from S0239 & solder input coax of stinger there, output on board where you removed little wire, & shileds to ground.

there was another version that required wiring at & around final transistor rather then S0239 socket. THAT was the one that was more difficult to get to operate with any efficiency.

there was another stinger-type that used its own driver transistor as well as an unmarked final. the 1969 or whatever needed to be removed. that one i never got to work at all.

come on, chop, i'm SURE you've got it figured out by NOW
