307 or anyone who can help! tx went out on my 139xlr and i open the cover and it is L31 was burnt in half...what do i replace it with??? where do i get it from? what may have caused it?!

TR-43 Shorted , Replace it AND the L31 which is a piece of wire with a ferrite bead on it , that will work...

where do i get the wire and what is a ferrite bead? what is tr-43, i don't have the radio by me.

If you don't know those questions , I suggest you find a CB shop , TR-43 is a transistor , a ferrite bead can be bought at Radio Shack..

ok thanks....i know what a transistor is..i just didnt have the radio with me and i was wondering if you could tell me which one......i got it now...thanks 307
