I have this CA-80 cobra echo mic when the control or power knob is set at 0 works fine .but when you turn it up a squeal starts the more you turn it up .could it be wired wrong ?could you tell me what is the wireing code for this so I can check it out. please Thank you ..Capt Hook |

Capt_hook,
The Cobra CA-80 is factory pre wired for the standard Cobra/Uniden 5 pin wiring.
PIN #1 ~ AUDIO
PIN #2 ~ SHIELD
PIN #3 ~ RECEIVE
PIN #4 ~ Sw. WIRE
PIN #5 ~ TRANSMIT

No Problem.
PIN #1 ~ SHIELD (Ground) & BLACK (Common)
PIN #2 ~ RED = AUDIO
PIN #3 ~ WHITE = TRANSMIT
PIN #4 ~ BLUE = RECEIVE
