I have a texas star modulator. For those who don't know a texas star mod is a 1 tranisistor (2290) amplifier. It seems to have a better carrier to pep ratio if I leave it on low (this is the one whith only high and low). I am driving it with a uniden 78 elite. I am thinking I would start with a 3 watt key let it swing to maybe 9 or so. Anybody who has advice would be great
