I Have a 667v that has burn spots on the variable pot, my question is, can this be replaced with any 100k linear pot? been told it can, but wanted to make sure,
Thanks -Mad

any 2 watt 100W pot will work. not 100k. they burn when you adjust watts down using variable on amp. you should adjust radio down to lower watts. try changing the wattage rating of the resistor before the pot & after the pot.
