this thing is only 2 weeks old and will not key up. but with the ssb delay switch turned on as soon as you hit the power button the amp comes on and is stuck keyed. i dont think i can get warranty work on this one as i did the 11meter mod myself and i know its moded correctly because it worked perfect for two weeks and i also did the 11meter mod on my 250hdv and its been perfect for 3months can anybody tell me what the problom could be

Some problems like this occur from the keying transistors going bad. I would try replacing those. Besides the pills they are the only other 2 transistors in the amp. Also did you try another radio? Be sure to have a 2 watt dead key( 4 watt dead key for high drive maybe?) and around 20 watts swing. Check your coax and jumpers too. Try another antenna? Its rare that I ever hear of brand new Texas Stars going bad! good luck and 73

i borrowed a transister out of my old one and that fix it, but where can i find some new transisters?
