Greetings all. Let me preface by saying I know little to nothing about CB's. So if I'm out of line asking here, very sorry. I have a few questions, but the answers can help quite a few people with the same problem. I ride a motorcycle, and want a CB on it. However, I also want a clean installation, so the idea I had was to buy a regular CB from a pawn shop, and relocate the controls. Am I way off base or should it simply be a matter of de-soldering and re-soldering? Secondly, I've found two nifty little devices at Radio Shack for mic/speaker combos. However, they are for frs radios. Is there a possibility of converting these to CB headsets? I do not know if they are EC or dynamic type mics. Thanx very much in advance. Mokey |
