--Hi, all. I just got my Mini Magnum back from the factory (I had them do the 30 watt PEP upgrade) and was wondering if my Mini Magnum 30 would be too much PEP for the TS 350HDV? I was thinking that 20 watts was the maximum PEP for that particular amp, but I also heard someone say that I could run as much as 35 watts PEP into that amp. So, is 20 watts the maximum PEP for that amp, or can I indeed run my Texas Star DX350HDV with the Mini Magnum 30? Thanks. |

Some might say go ahead, the amp can take it. Personally I would not drive a 2 pill that hard. Thats almost twice the drive the amp is designed to take. I would go 4 pill. |

that amp can take alot iofabuse id worry about carrier more than swing i had one hooked up 2 a 2510 on ssb doing 35-40watts no problems used it for about7yrs then sold radio boy was i dumb well back to topic i wouldnt use much more than 5watts deadkey.also make sure your antenna has a swr of no higher than 1.3.1 |
