If you bought mic off of Coppers, maybe call one
of there Techs, they should be able to tell
you...

wired the JCD201-M as to your instructions tech291 and it worked like a charm.I suspect the red wire is a voltage supply wire so the mike could be fed its power from the radio.Just a guess.

I have a JCD-201M base mic an would like to wire a 5 pin plug on for a Grant XL. Does anyone know what color wires go where on the plug?

Lon what color wire goes on pin 3? Up above on wiring rci 2995dx tech 291 has white on rec pin 4 an on Grant 5 pin he's got white on pin 4 com. How can white wire on mic be for com an receive?
