Since I am not official and will probably be running multiple feeds to the tower I'm thinking of jerking out the bury-flex and sinking a PVC cable channel into the ground.
I was wondering how you all went about this and what diameter you used. I was thinking of 3" coming out of the ground and then doing a 180 degree turn around to prevent water entry at the grounding point and tower point. Am I on the right track? Do you leave a pull-line in there? Do you seal the ends? I was thinking of sealing wiht closed cell foam. This will prevent water penetration and ease future expansion.

Thats about what I have used in the past on commercial sites. I also stuffed both ends of the PVC tube with steel wool - helps keep those nasty critters out. |

Chad,
3" would certainly be nice for future expansion but 2" will hold about everything you would feed to the tower.It never hurts to leave a couple extra runs of jetline for future pulls.as you pull a new line through,at the same time pull a new jetline.Look for the copper pan scrubbers in the house-wares section of your grocer(wont rust like steel wool).Your climate is the same as here,so moisture more than likly will still condense inside the buried conduit.just a few thoughts off the top of my head.

Chad like Tech291 said your not going to keep ALL moisture out do to condensation and the fact that no PVC glue out there can stop all water. I have done alot of PVC in my job and I have never seen an installation that I have went back to and pulled through and it was dry inside. I higly suggest what ever size you use do two things...use lots of PVC Glue on all joints and if your running long distance put a junction box every 50'
