I own a beautiful Telsat 140. It is in mint condition, with very discreet mods. The control for the extra channels is a chrome rod underneath the rig, slides left to right in 3 positions. Variable power is also underneath on a push/pull rod.
They unlocked the clairfier, and thats the problem, only 3 KCs slide. Can a laymen extend the slide to get a full 5 KCs, or can I add a 5 KC switch(better yet). This radio has beautiful recieve audio, and I would love to use it more but our DX group operates on a "0" frequency, and 3 KCs slide will not get me there.
Thanks in advance
