I was wondering if anyone has a copy of the schematic for the trc 449 or the cobra 139 xlr, I need to know where the agc section is on a trc 449.Looking at a friends 449 that seems to have no agc action at all , thing seems to be wide open and I suspect a problem in the agc section.

Update on the agc problem with the trc 449. I have located the problem , it was an open diode that is linked to the rf gain circut, D15, one of those small glass signal diodes,1n60 I believe is the # not sure what caused this to go but maybe a surge of strong rf from a nearby transmitter caused the problem .
