Can you tell me if the CONNEX 4600 Turbo can be turned down to a 3 or 4 watt dead key and swing to 150 after "expand,peak & tune? And any more info on this rig would be very helpfull |

Never owned, used, or tested one before.
Try calling the Copper Tech at:
1-800-626-6343 during Copper Business Hours and ask for the Copper Tech.

Hi Does anyone now of a final transistor that can be used in place of a 2sd1974 or now of a place to get them. xxxx does not have any left and I could not seem to be able to locate any.The radio this is for is a GE 3-5814A Thanks |

Are you sure that it is a 2SDxxxx and not a 2SC?
the 2SD is used for TV horizontal deflection circuits.
The 2SC1974 is rated for 4.5 watts out and can be replaced by a LOT of different "Final" transistors
using the BCE pin layout.

Uniden bearcat 880 has no power. Have power tp plugin and to on/off switch wiring. No powerafter that to any functions. Any ideas? |

I have a Galaxy DX 959 that tx’s /talks very low when I’m talking to someone...I’ve tried power mics/stock and radio still talks low...or doesn’t like power mics and stock mic mmaked it’s super low...anyone have ideal of this problem ? |

Sounds like a couple things could be wrong:
1. Radio could be very misaligned. Try going through the factory alignment procedure. A "peak and tune" on a 959 is NOT the proper way to align it, especially the PA bias adjustments.
2. The mic preamp could be bad.
