Make sure Nothing comes into contact with this Pin on the radio. Your color of wires are different from the SUPERSTAR DM-452 so you must have a different brand but the pin out should be the same. Cdp1953, You will need a 6 pin Microphone Connector and you will only use PINS #1-2-3-5 on the 6 pin mic connector to connect to the Magnum 257. CLICK HERE ® MIC CONN 6PIN FEMALE PLUG You will need to figure out what wire went to each pin on the mic you have now and match to the pinout for the MAGNUM 257 listed in the above post. If you were using it on a Cobra/Uniden Radio you should have no problem's. The color of the wires may be different but the pinout should be the same. You will not use PIN #4 or #6 in the 6 Pin Mic connector. Lon Tech808 N9CEF CEF#808/HAM#33 CVC#002

I'm not trying to spoil your soup but the stock mic is the best thing I have found for that radio, it's like they were "made for each other" Chad Chad CEF 433 HAM 212 not an ego thing, just keepin' the mods happy

The stock mic was too small for my hand and I was always going off freq from bumping those up/dn buttons. I was also told that it was too bassy. The DM-452 cured that problem and now everyone says that I sound great! |

Wire your mic to Cobra 4 pin and buy the adapter from copper. That way you can just swap the mic from radio to radio without re-wiring. CEFFFCEF Bob CEF703 CVC26.
