Does anyone know the mic. wiring for a super sidekick to a Cobra 135 xlr ssb.Is there any way to bench test this mic.before I start? I am hoping the side kick mic. will do better than the mic. that came with the radio it is not the stock mic. someone just added it. |

Here is the correct wiring for the Cobra 135-XLR. Pin-1 Shield Pin-2 Audio (White) Pin-3 Transmit(Black) Pin-4 Receive (Red) All of the Turner Super Sidekicks that I've ever seen, (and I've seen and wired a good many over the years), are four wire and on the older Turners the transmit wire is the Black. This is correct as long as the radio is still 4 pin, as it was at time of manufacture. Carl CEF-357 CVC-9 HAM-28 Flatlands of Oklahoma
