help!!!!! someone please tell me what the 8 segment bar graphs s unit value is per segment? this info is NOT readily available please help!

I don't think that they directly correspond to S-units. It is just a relative meter. Keep in mind that each bar has different strengths too, it's not just "solid" or "off". Just have patience and take the time to get used to it. Soon you'll get a pretty good idea what they represent. If someone asks what they are hitting me at, I usually use about 6 or 7 bars for an S-9. If it's 8 bars, just tell them that they are pegging your meter and they'll be happy, lol.

It's not like the S-meter is rocket science anyhow. Most people just want to know if they are coming in strong or weak.

actually they do directly corospond to the s unit rating i had the breakdown years ago but lost it when i sold all my gear. and obviously if ti were to be "8" s unit bar it it was lighting intermittently thats 7 not 8 and so forth. ;) someone out there has the specs. im certain of it cause i had them once. if i do manage to get them again they will NOT be lost :-)

yes very cool but my point is i dont have it anymore *bangs head on desk in frustration* i have to find someone that does have the same bit of information :-( i really am a 1st class idiot for losing those specs.....sigh...
