Has anyone ever heard of a radio called : HR3950 , yes I know it sounds like a HR2510 , it is a mobile type I believe that it is a 11/10 meter radio.I am looking for some info on this radio for a friend but I can't find any reference to it anywhere on the internet.

I did a little research and I believe the name is TEK-HR 3950. If so, it's kinda like a Mongoose radio. Black face. I think it can do 6 bands, and it does AM/FM/USB/LSB modes. I did find the mic wiring for it.

1-SHIELD
2-AUDIO
3-TX
4-RX

And this is the only pic I could find.

And if you looked under the mods listed here in the forum, you would see some tune up info Lon posted. And that would this:

Mod - rv-203 or cut r-270
AM power - rv-300
SSB power - rv-303

RV1 - Squelch
RV101 - RX Meter
RV202 - FM Deviation
RV304 - TX Meter
RV400 - Carrier Balance

I hope this helps!
