This may be a stupid question but I have a General Lee and the meter on it may be haywire . Everyone says it is super loud with great audio and signal. Normally when i would dead key the meter would move a bit on low and about half way on high. Now nothing on low but swings when i talk. On high it moves a bit on d.k. and falls back down and swings when I talk. Could this be a problem or nothing to worry about.

Built in radio meters are the cheapest, most mal treated, unreliable things on the planet.

Great to get a quick look, but almost never calibrated to anything and prone to failure.
