I have a 4-pin DM-452 lying around and would like to try it out on my TS-570D. I feel it should work ok because the Kenwood requires a 250-600 ohm
mic. Has anyone tried wiring a "CB" mic to a HAM rig?

The Kenwood is an 8-pin as follows:
1. Mic
2. PTT
3. Down
4. UP
5. 8v
6. NC
7. Gnd(Mic)
8. Gnd(stby)

Can anyone give me the wire color to pin lineup.
Thanks in advance.

Carl

I got it wired up and if anyone is interested, it goes like this:
1. Yellow (audio)
2. Blue (xmit)
7. Black (rcv)
8. Shield

This radio is "rockin'" now!
