i got a 2990 DX with the fan kit but no plug no drawing of any kind just 3 wires red black & white i got a feeling it is 12 volts but dont want to screw anything up on this nice radio can any one tell me how to wire it up id like for it to work from the radio so it goes off & on when the radio does but i guess i could use power supply if need be thanks bbmfic

i was under the impression that they just pluged into a 110 wall outlet like your radiogot me puzzled???

Looks like the one shown on Copper's website has a 110v plug on it. Just curious, what do you have your AM low and high power set at on that radio, I have one also ?

hmm maybe someone cut his 110 plug off cause
the ones ive seen from ranger dont wire inside
radio like hes suggestioning.they mount on back
of radio and plug into 110 outlet

just for your info it is 12 volt & not 110 there is a rca plug on it but some of the units are not set up for it you have to change it yourself in order for it to work

..mine is 12v and I just added red to positive side of on switch when on black to ground .The thrid wire I left alone.Been working for 3 years and comes on and off with the radio.mine did come with instructions.The first generatios 2990 Dx like mine did not come out with rca pluge for that so I had to add a small hole in the back for the wires and add two wires from the radio to the fan kit.Made mine with pluge in so I could replace fan kit with out going through every thing again.
Good luck hope you figure it out sure helps out that power supply.
