I was wondering if i could use my new 257 that was peaked and tuned from copper with a KL-203 Mobile am off the same 25amp power supply from rad shack.

and if i can what would i need to do to run it properly thanks im new to amps so...

You will need to back the output power down in the radio to use the KL-203.

can i adjust the power on the 257 by just using the adjustable power knob?

and can i run the 203 and the radio off the 25amp rad shack switching power supply?

New, best way is to find out total watts radio + amp and divide by 12v will give the total amps needed to run both :-)

milkman is right also on ssb turn down output
to around 10 watts.just curious is it the new
model of the magnum 257 50 watter?

when i ordered i just asked for a magnum 257 over the phone.Theres a 50 watter i thought they were only 30 watts like it says on the page?

i hope they gave me the right one.

yea coppers just got the new257 in a few days
ago,cant remeber exactly when.there was a post
made when they came adavailable il go back thru it and try to find it
