Hello,
Hope somebody here can help me on this,
The Royce 1-641 base has no Receive can hear a little static, but no change with or without an antenna attached) It also has a slight ac hum on AM, but is worse on SSB. The volume knob does not control the static that is very low in the speaker, it just brings up the hum a little.
all functions work and the radio transmits, but the higher i go from 1-40 the lower the power output is.
Maybe these problems are all connected? I don’t know, just want to get it fixed, and if the receive problem is fixed at least i would be able to talk on it.
any help anyone can give or recommend is great appreciated. Really hope i can get this fixed. If I need to be clearer on anything please ask questions.

got the little Royce 1-621 keying!!!, the tx light still stays on, but gets brighter when keyed. Still no receive, well very very low in the speaker, need some help on this receive thing here, believe i can cure both radios (1-641 to) if i can find out what is wrong in the rx part. |
