I have read in the forums here and other forums, that these radio are the same as a cobra 25. I printed the ekl mod for the cobra uniden and none of the jumpers are what they say they are, But the same parts are thjere just different #'s. Do I just remove the parts that are the same as the 25 in the 66 and the mod should work. I am also wondering about the modulation swing mod also. |

cobra 25/pc66/66xl, 29/76/76xl, 148/grant xl/lt....each group of cobra/uniden radios are basically the same. as you found, some use different part #'s & the location may vary ever so slightly, but they are the same. |

Actually if your dealing with a newer Cobra radio, Uniden no longer makes the boards for the cobra radio's they started using a cheeper company becuase uniden woulnd't cheepen there parts, so they are the same design and use the same blueprints but parts are cheeper and in most cases have a different part number however if your dealing with all older radio's then they sould be identicle for the most part.
