Would there be enough room to add the viagra "B" board and the Lou Franklin channel-guard on the 2547s' PCB; or would there be space conflicts?

Disco_time_machine,

First off WELCOME to the COPPER FORUM!

I see you are about 122 miles north of me here in Bloomington, IL.

The Channel Guard Filter is only:

5/8" Wide
X
1-1/2" Long
X
5/8" Tall

Not sure of the size of a Viagra board as I have never used one before but I would guess you will have plenty of room.

Pleasure to meet a fellow Illini, Lon. If I slope my Dipole on a quiet night I might be able to line-o-sight you; besides for Kankakee its all farms between us. 8)
I'm just uncertain whether the two adds would habitate the same part of the PCB or if they place themselves in different locations of the schematic.
I'm guessing they'll fit too but usually my guessing is just plain wrong.
I always wanted a Lou Franklin channel guard but the channel-board sparks my curiousity.
I suppose if there is a conflict I'd choose more selectivity over more bandwidth.

Welcome aboard Disco. The Viagra board "B" is plug and play as far as "connections" go.It
(the radio)will have to be aligned after the install. The channel guard AND the Viagra board
will both fit with no problems. There is plenty of
room in that fantastic base for both!Good Luck.
Keep us posted how things turn out.

i have galaxys and magnums they are both good radios the 95ts are loud good sounding radios thats all there is to it! the receivers are not as good as the magnums from my experience, but the power will take the magnums most of the time. if u allready own amplifiers than get a magnum if not buy a 95t!
