I recently aquired a TRC457 in great shape. I have nothing when the AC power is connected except for the clock. When I connect DC the radio lights up, but I have no tx or rx. PA works good, meter lights are fine and the internal switching relay clicks when the mic is keyed. Also the meters turn red during TX but I get no output. This radio does not look like it has been touched inside except there is a grey wire connected to the pc board next to R29 but the other end is not connected. Looks like it just broke off. Anyone have any idea as to where this wire goes? |
