Hey Brain ive got one and its stock other than a power mic and that is it ! i love it !! but there is a few mods you can do and i think copper has them on there mod list ! but i just up the audio and try that ! but dont cut it ! i know the audio will stink !!! LOL

hey Perry ! it wont work on the 1000GTL ! dont that mod on a few radios but the 1000GTL wont work ! Sorry

I did it to the last one I had and it worked fine. I don't know why as I am not a tech by any means. I do know by the schematic the cobra 89gtl, 1000gtl, and the Uniden Zachary T. are pretty much identical. I'm not trying to be a smarty or anything of the sort and I am sure most people know more that me. I'm just relaying what worked for me. |

can someone tell me if that is a 25 volt cap in the pic as there are many values can i use a 16 to 25 volt please let me know thanks |
