Has anyone ever checked one of these radio's out after performing the swing mod to see if extra harmonics are generated or not using an oscilliscope? Can the dead key be set at say 5 watts rms dead key without components getting hot or wearing out too soon?
I'd like to have a rms dead key of 5 watts and swing upwards without components getting hot or anything of that nature.
