I have a Ranger RCI 2970 (non DX) and all the wire connection plugs are disconnected and just hanging there. Please can someone help me with the placement of each plug connection within the radio? I made a severe mistake by taking this radio to the "local tech" and after waiting 2 weeks I visited the techs' loc and his girlfriend told me that he had to leave town for a few days. So I had left. And then returned after waiting another few days and his GF said he was still gone. So I told her I needed to get my radio back. She went into his radio work room and brought my radio to me. I returned home to hookup the radio and nothing happened. I then removed the cover and realized he had all the wire plugs disconnected. I have no clue as to what plugs into what. If there is someone out there who can help me with this dilemma, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks and God Bless. |

I sent you a link to the book on the radio i hope it is the right one.
One big problem today IS there is no license required to work on radios .... SO in most places your at the mercy of how good or bad he is

i dont know a lot about radios but i know enough to keep my own stuff going.
