Very happy with the TX section of my S9, but for a dual conversion it seems to pickup a lot more bleed over than the Galaxy 959 I just had. I had done the noise blanker and Detector Diode change on the 959 replacing with the lower noise NTE 583's. It made a dramatic difference! I was wondering if anybody has done something similar with the S9?
Tnx...

did all the XL-type changes, not really sure if better or not. the transistor change to the rcv seemed to increase bleedover even more. the NB diode change changed the tone of received audio, made it a bit sharper & 'higher' pitched, and accentuated the bleedover, making it more 'piercing'. tried adjusting the coil for rcv sensitivity, & it only helped when i decreased the rcv. sounded good with no bleedover, but when it was there, it made it harder to deal with yet.
needless to say, my original S9 & my early delta force have new owners. my blue/mosfet 257 was moved too, but, due to a friend's financial issues, i repurchased it from him....against my better judgement. it'll go again, if the price is right. am debating on an S9-175, but my better judgement AGAIN is kicking me. a higher output omega force is appealing as well, but.........

Tnx.. Just got my e-mail back from for XTAL filter placement. Remove C58, in towards L11 out towards L11. Used one on a old 152 GTL, it really helped. Hope it will do the same. Will post when done, will be a few weeks.........
