i have a ss 158 edx & i love it but would like to know how to tie the fine & coarse clari. together & has any one figured out how to stop the drift problem with this radio thanks bbmfic

i cant belive no one knows how to do this there has to be a way to tie them together to make them work as one wouldnt you think so??? bbmfic

Why the need to tie the fine and course shift ?? The course shift tunes both tx & rx and the fine tunes only rx as you will know , if you tie them both together and shift to say 28.360 to talk to someone and they are slightly off freq you will need to use the clarifier to get them from sounding like Chip & Dale , ok so you shift the clarifier but being tied to the course shift this will then put you off freq to them , hope you catch where I am coming from ,

the only thing i was after was to tie them together for the mobile it is better than playing with them both than just the one it just seems to be alot better that way & be able to keep my eyes on the road instead of the radio

hmm i thought they both course and fine did tx/rx like the magnum s9.

no they dont thats why i wanted to tie them together for the mobile use so i dont have to keep playing while driving not a safe thing if your driving & playing with 2 knobs all the time im starting to get a few years on me so im trying to make is as simple as posible to keep my eyes on the road & stay safe thanks bbmfic
