I was wondering if anyone knows how I should volt the final on a president madison MB8719. From the info I can find it supposed to go where D55 is but my D55 is missing. I did all the other steps (removed TR24, jumpered R196, replaced R124,126 w/ 4.7K ohm resistors, cut R131, and installed the 10micro Farad cap). Also did the bias adjust w/ TP8 and TP7. I noticed the modulation sounds good and load and also get decent reports on ssb. However the watts are not swinging up to 25 watts like some others that i've read? It dead keys at 2-3 and swings to 10-12. Should I just solder the TP7 to a suitable 13v source such as the on/off switch of the radio? Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks.
