Ok I know what to do with the am side of things just wanted to make sure about the ssb side of things. I know VR17 is the ssb power and VR13 is ssb ALC. How should these two be adjusted for best sound and performance. Thank you all in advance 73'sssssssss

for ssb theres only modulation [swing]
id adjust it for max ,then cut it back a little
should see around 25-30 watts on ssb if you got
mosfets in it.
if yours is a older one with 1969 finals then you,ll probaly only see around 15 watts on ssb

Were it me. I'd set the AM low @ 2w the AM high @ 3.5 and the SSB at 12-15 pep yes they will do more but over doing it will put it in the shop soon.

Is that the boat you have or hobby ie; Basstracker

Sounds like a nice boat. I got a chance to fish Lake Barkley one year, there were so many tree stumps and we were in a 15ft alum Sears boat with a 5hp it wasn't fast but we fished close to shore anyway.
How's the 959?
