I have a chance to get a boomer deluxe 300 from a friend to run with my tomahawk base radio. Does anyone have any thoughts on this setup or experience with the boomer deluxe base? What would a good price be for an amp like that?

when they 1st came out a few of my friends bought them and a few had trouble with the power supplys going out. there was 2 or 3 versions of them so not sure if this one is one of the good ones. they had a shop repair them and some are still running the ones they bought. the ones they bought had the hookup on them to run a mobile radio and those are the ones that had trouble with them running a mobile. the guys with a base radio seemed to hold up fairly well.
