Can you add an RX output to a 2950 for use with a sdr system so you get recieve without the transmit RF being this was originally a 10 meter radio thought this might be possible since some other ham rigs have that option built in.

SDR SOFTWARE DEFINED RADIO There is no computer connection for this on the RCI 2950 DX. or any DX SERIES RADIO FROM RCI. Also there is no computer software for this radio to be programmed or any computer cable for this radio either. So no is the answer.

Looking over the schematic, I can find the IF output, but don't see a good way to get it out of the radio. If you're pretty handy with a schematic and a soldering iron, look for the 2nd I.F. output mixer and aim for that. Then, adjust the SDR IF freq. to the 2950 IF frequency.
