Hi guys,
I have the first version of this radio, the one that has the SWR board towards the back of the chassis. Does anyone have clarifier modification steps for this board?

Thanks,

Re Kev:

It is more complicated than one would think. Look up Dave's repair on the you tube videos and search for your radio model. Basic as far as I can understand the radio has two clarifyers/ gross and fine tune. Each one needs modification. Be sure and watch the video all the way to the end before attempting any modification. I say this on the basis that the board in the radio is surface mount technology that requires more than the novice hand at soldering and de soldering.
