Does anybody know the mod for PLL02a to get above 27.705MHZ. I've found several web sites with details but no info to get above 705. Hopefully by jumping pins. Thanks......

Elmars1,

You will need an add-on kit to get more freqs from that PLL.

Do you mean the kit would get me above 705?

What does an add on kit consist of?

the formula for this is-new xtal=current10 mhz xtal+(n*0.1125) or new xtal=current 20mhz xtal+ or-(n*0.225)where n is the number of 40 channels segments abouve or below "legal" 40 channels. so a crystal of (10.0525mhz+0.1125mhz )or 10.165 would give you 40 channels starting at 27.415. (1)cut all leads to pins 9 and 10.(2)reconnect the cuts with 3k3 resisters.(3)mount switches or use pa switch connect a wire to pin 10 and to pin 9, pin 10 after the resister and pin 9 before the resister you need 2,2 position switches.one switch connect to pin 10 before resister and ground to otherside next switch connect pin 10side after resister otherside connect pin 9 before resister 26.065 to 27.705.
