Since I've Been out of the loop for so long I'm wondering what are the most popular Receiver mods and boards/parts available today. Such as replacing the crystal if filter, detector mods etc |

just get a preamp,recieve mods are hard on your radio anyway. |

FTB,
Sorry for overlooking your post.
One of the more popular boards is the 3600-14b from Ranger/Galaxy. This is found in many late model export radios. There are several rx upgrades for this board. If you obtain a radio utilizing this board email me and I'll fill you in.
The Magnum series radios such as the 257, Maverick, Alpha Force, Delta Force, and soon to come Omega Force, all utilize a newer generation board that already incorporates many of these upgrades. |
