I did the buzz fix for the freq counter and it helped, but now I get a buzz or hum from the hand mic, also if I put my hand on where the mic plugs in the radio the hum goes away,I took the mic apart and put a 10k res. in audio lead ,but this did not fix it.It is a astatic 575 mic.

Humm on key in my Pluto was also fixed with larger power supply. The Astron 20 is rated 16 amps and may be worth less if used much. Upgrading to an Astron RS-35M also fixed intermitten humm in a RS HTX-242 rig.
