Just wondering wht the word is on this Base Radio...I've heard it goes from about 23.3-30mhz. somewhere in that neighbor hood.... Any mods or tweaks would be appreciated much.. Thanks from The Weakest Station in The Nation 212 Michigan, Saginaw Michigan right by the Bay...

after alot of research i have found that these boards are modified just like the rci's,except the pins look like they are in the middle of the board.. the frequency after the conversion are
23.815-30.555... and of course you can change the colors of the lights as well...
channel mod
locate the 4 position jumper block located next to the kt3170IC chip. move the two jumper blocks to the center pins....
AMC mod
Locate the small surface mount transistor approximately one ince from the 5 and 6 pin connectors at the front left side.. carefully unsolder and lift the center pin up from the circuit borat,or remove entirely....
enableing export freq
you must hold in the EMB button while powering up the radio... To select a band of choice utse the anl button...wich will bring up the bands...

I know it's helped me...This is a awsome looking radio, is worth a while to peak at it....
