Channel mod
1-remove bottom cover
2-find j-29 and find j-28
3- Now that you found these, Move jumper from pins 8&7 over to 4&5 on j-29
4-Move jumper from pins 1&2 over to pins2&3 on
j-28
WHAMMMO..... EXTRA CHANNELS,
But hey the board isn't labbeled on the pins, ok here is how it's laid out, before the extra channels is put in the radio, J-29 has the jumper on pin 8&7.. right across from pin 8&7 is pins 4&5.. J28, you will see there is only 3 pins to start with, just move it over.. Remember this is for extra channels, so if the channel mod is already done, you won't need to do this..

The Ranger RG-66 has from 24.265 to 29.655. What other channels does this mod give? |

This is probaly the channels it gets after the channel mod Hattrick... So i would guess that your is probaly done already.. |

I bought it brand new and it come that way out of the box. It has am,fm and bands A through L.
Im not trying to argue but i think ya might be thinking of another radio. |

Nope, i got the modification book on this radio, took the channel mod from the book and shared it with you just incase you didn't have it.. Glad your set with it already... |
