Try hooking a D104 instead.

I know what the mod limiter is, but everyone is saying that after a month haveing this part removed will fry the radio..
Which i agree, clipping it cause extra wear and tear on the other parts stressing out components..

I think the D104 is a good start, you may also want to make sure were you dead key is set. Alot of times when it's to high, the mod won't do as good as if it was set a little lower..

Copper also has a supper talk kit that is suppose to improve your modulation..

And if worse come to worse, their may be a chance that the needle on the radio just isn't reading properly..

Maybe if you know someone who has a meter, they may allow you to use it to check it out??

I think the D104 and other stuff above will help you out.. Take care guy,.. From Mick in Saginaw
p.s i couldn't find the vr for the modulation, sorry..
