Just wondering what would be a good amp to go with a 959? Doesn't have to be the best just something that has some extra kick. Thanks

KL60, KL203, with that radio about 50w and 100w. Make sure the radio is set so either the 60 has about 12w carrier out or the 203 about 25w carrier out.

Thanks for the reply. I am somewhat new at this, so what all does that mean?

Means your "carrier" power, power the radio or amp puts out when you key the mike and say nothing should be set as described previously. The radio has a variable power so you can set it so the carrier out of either amp is as advised. This is sometimes called "matching the radio to the amp".
