I need to know where to find a new face plate & buttons for my 2950, because this radio has logged in sooooo many hours that the orange glow from the old lights discolored them. & my blue lights look brown lol...PLEASE HELP.

Kingarthur... That's what happens when you or anyone else smokes around your radio equipment. But the rubber keypad will turn yellow with age anyways. I've replaced the one on mine twice since I bought it new. I have a couple very early 2950s also.

Email me at: kc0gxz@aol.com

I'll see what i can do for you.

By the way. I'm thinking that since you want to go to the bother of replacing the keypad, you must be pretty fond of that radio. I had 5 of them that I was using in my two personal vehicles and two business trucks and one as a base. I still have two of the original 5 and still use them in my cars. The others were replaced when I went VHF on the Business Band and was asigned my own frequency for my repeater. Those 2950s have served me well for many years. If you are a AM'er, I highly suggest doing the NPC mod on it and throwing your power mic away. You won't be needing with that radio any more.

Jeff, kc0gxz.
