CHANNEL MOD

With the radio off, press down and hold buttons, "DW" and "9". While those buttons are pushed in, turn your radio on.

Select channel bands by pressing the "19" button.

To allow for 28Mhz to 29.7 Mhz, press and hold the "LCR" and "eMIC"e buttons then turn radio on. To switch back to 40 channel mode repeat this process.

PEAK AND TUNE

VR11 MOD
VR8 SSB POWER
VR3 AM POWER

This dose not work for my 79-290 is there a jumper that needs to be moved or somthing?
