This may have been asked before.I tried searching the forum but didnt find what i was lokking for.Is there a way to add the rodger beep to the 3900hp gold without adding a seperate rodger beep board.I was thinking that since the standard 3900 had a beep,you could enable one in the hp gold.

You would have to "add" all the components as well as the "wires"..Big job...

All of the 3900GHP's that I have sold have a rodger beep in them. The jumper is J9,front of radio behind meter.It is always on unless someone has cut the jumper. Are there more than one 3900 gold HP's out there? EPT360014C Ranger board right? |

all the 3900g's i have seen have a built in roger beep with no switch, flybynight i would check j9 to see if it is cut someone may have disabled it (this was a popular thing to do when they are converted by the tech at the shop) and not installed a switch! if this is the case and it is cut then just add a spst switch to each side of the cut jumper and it will then be switchable! 73's chris

Ok,i stated the wrong radio.The radio is a Super Star 3900 Plus Gold.Hopefully this will clear thing's up a bit.Thank's for all the information!73's
