Yeah, I know....But what they heck...Someone might have one, and I had nothing better to do than to dig this old heap out of a box. So here it is.

AM Power -- L3,L4,L5
Modulation -- Remove Q12
S Meter -- VR4
RF Meter -- VR5
(3 1/2 watt dead key with swing to 7 watts without removing the mod limiter.)

PLL -- LC7131 (Able to be modified ONLY with the Super Expo kit)

MIC WIRING (5 pin DIN)

(1) GROUND
(2) N/A
(3) TX
(4) MOD
(5) RX

OK, Steve, how about the same info for my Realistic TRC-465 AM/SSB mobile? I'm sure it could use a tweaking, and with this radio I am willing to try my hand on it!

Thanks,

Adam

Anonymous,

Well bud, I looked high and low, I even asked Jeeves, and I can't seem to find anything on the General Longstreet as far as tune-ups and mods are concerned.

I am sure this question has been asked before, but I cannot find anything on it. Does anyone have the freq mod for a TRC-485?

Thanks

Thanks, Steve, for the info on the TRC-465. I think I'll noodle around with this one to peak it up a bit, but I'm not sure I'll tackle adding extra channels, least not until I know more on how this works. Frankly, when ya talk about "injecting new mixing frequencies" ya tend to lose me (LOL)!

Power Mod For the TRC492 is a little kick in a box...haha Get you a 100W amp and you will be fine.

The 492 has the LC7131 PLL so you can get more freq out of it with the Super Expo Kit.
